Sun Education has just released a new course dedicated to learning Identity Manager :
Sun Java System Identity Manager: Deployment Fundamentals (IDM-345)

From my humble opinion, it is the first course that is reaching a good quality level, focusing on deploying and customizing the product. An interesting case-study is prefacing all the chapters and illustrates the issues as well as the possible solutions.
